It swaps in as a standard low profile .750 gas block, but the gas port is drilled roughly 50% smaller than what you'd find on a normal block, so less gas gets shoved back through the system when the can is on.
The smaller port knocks down that sharp "port pop" and reduces the blowback that makes suppressed shooting gritty and gassy. It ships with a starting gas port around .063, which a lot of folks find is dialed in right out of the box for over-gassed carbine and mid-length setups paired with a heavier buffer. Because every rifle is a little different, some builds run perfectly as-is while others benefit from opening the port a hair to match a specific barrel, caliber, or ammo.
