The Yankee Hill Machine carbine-length gas tube handles one of the most important jobs on your AR-15: routing hot gas from the barrel's gas port back to the bolt carrier group so the rifle cycles. This is the same tube YHM runs standard on their YHM-15 rifles and carbines, so it's a proven piece rather than an experiment. It's built from steel with a black plated finish and ships with the roll pin you need to pin it into the gas block.
Most gas tubes come with a bright, silvery look that can peek through the vents and slots on a modern handguard. This one is finished in black so it disappears behind lightweight, diamond, and other vented forearms instead of catching light and drawing the eye.
