The Yankee Hill Machine YHM-110 is a stripped A3 flat top upper receiver built for anyone putting together an AR-15 from the ground up. It starts life as forged 7075-T6 aluminum, gets machined 100% in house at YHM, and wears a hardcoat anodized matte black finish done to military specifications or better. The flat top Picatinny rail up top gives you a clean mounting surface for optics, red dots, or backup irons, so you're not locked into any one sighting setup.
A couple of details make this receiver worth a look over the bargain-bin options. It comes with M4-style feed ramps and "T" markings machined into the rail, which helps keep your ammo running smoothly from a proper barrel extension. The inside is treated with a dry film lube, so the bolt carrier group has a slick surface to ride on right out of the gate. That kind of attention shows up when you're actually running the gun.
This is a stripped upper, so it's a blank canvas. It accepts standard AR-15 upper receiver parts like a dust cover and forward assist, and it drops onto any mil-spec lower without a fight. To get it up and running you'll want to add a dust cover, forward assist, charging handle, barrel, gas system, handguard, muzzle device, and a bolt carrier group. If you already run YHM handguards or other parts, everything lines up the way it should.

Since this is a stripped upper, it ships as the bare receiver only. To complete it you'll need a dust cover (port door), forward assist, charging handle, barrel, gas block and gas tube, handguard, muzzle device, and a bolt carrier group. Once those are installed, it pins right onto a lower to make a running rifle.
Yes. The YHM-110 is built to mil-spec dimensions and is made to fit and function with any standard AR-15 lower receiver. It also accepts standard upper receiver parts, so your dust cover and forward assist will drop right in.
The M4-style feed ramps are cut wider and lower to help feed rounds more reliably when paired with a matching M4-ramped barrel extension. The "T" markings on the rail are a reference standard that lets you index optics and mounts to the same spot every time you remount them.
