The XS Sights R3D 2.0 takes a proven CZ P10 upgrade and makes it brighter and easier to run. Built for Optics Ready P10 slides, this set uses a suppressor-height profile so your irons clear a can or line up behind a pistol red dot instead of vanishing under the optic window. Up front you get a green tritium lamp wrapped in an Ember Glow Dot that soaks up ambient light and glows when things get dark, paired with a serrated, blacked-out rear that cuts glare and pulls your eye to that front post.
The front sight tritium lamp burns brighter than the two rear lamps, which is a small detail that pays off in low light by keeping you from confusing the front dot with the rear. The rear uses black PVC rings around its tritium to sharpen the edges and clean up the sight picture. A wide 0.170-inch rear notch gives you daylight on either side of the 0.145-inch front blade, so alignment happens fast even when the lighting is working against you. Everything is CNC machined from solid steel bar stock and finished in corrosion-resistant BlackNitride.
Front height runs .385 inches with a .455-inch rear, and the set works with most standard holsters. The rear sight also carries a squared ledge you can hook on a belt or boot heel for one-handed slide manipulation, which is a genuinely useful feature if you ever need to rack the slide with one hand.
XS reworked the dovetail specs on the 2.0 line so installation takes roughly half the force of the original R3D, whether you use a sight pusher or a hammer and punch. The kit ships with the hardware and both threadlockers to do the job right. Tritium illumination is backed for 12 years, so this is a set-it-and-forget-it upgrade you can trust for duty or daily carry.
This set is cut for CZ P10 Optics Ready models, so double check your slide before ordering. The suppressor-height profile is designed to work behind a slide-mounted red dot or over a suppressor. If you run a standard, non-OR P10, you'll want the standard-height version instead.
The suppressor height brings your irons up high enough to co-witness with many pistol optics, but not every optic and mounting plate combination lines up the same. XS notes the sights will not co-witness with all optics. Measure your sight, plate, and optic stack together to confirm compatibility before you install.
Plenty of folks install these at home. XS revised the dovetail specs on the 2.0 line to cut installation force by about half, and they can be pressed in with a sight pusher or driven with a hammer and punch. The kit comes with both threadlockers, the hex wrenches, and written instructions, and XS has a P10 install video if you want to follow along.
The tritium lamps are self-luminous and glow in low or no light without any charging. XS backs the tritium illumination with a 12-year warranty. The front also has an Ember Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light for extra brightness during the day and dusk.
