The XS Ghost Ring White Stripe set takes the small, short-radius factory sights off your Marlin and replaces them with a rugged all-steel setup built for speed. The rear ghost ring mounts to the receiver and gives you a wide, open field of view, so your eye naturally centers the target inside the ring. Up front, the blued steel post wears a painted white stripe that stands out against just about any background and stays visible from bright daylight down to dusk. If you've ever squinted trying to find that skinny factory bead in low light, this is the fix a lot of hunters wish they'd made years ago.
The rear sight is fully adjustable for both windage and elevation, and it ships with two interchangeable apertures measuring .230" and .191" inside diameter. The larger ring lets in more light for fast work in the timber, while the smaller one tightens things up when you want a bit more precision. Everything is CNC machined from steel bar stock in Texas, so it holds up to recoil, drops, and years of field use in a way plastic fiber-optic sights simply don't.
This kit is made for the screw-on front sight versions of the Marlin 336, 1894, and 30AS, meaning the existing blade and ramp is screwed to the barrel rather than dovetailed in. It fits the classic 336 and 1894 models. It will not fit the newer Ruger-made Marlins that use 1.00" front sight screw spacing, such as the SBL, Dark, and Trapper series. Installation is a home-shop job for most folks, and the front sight screws torque to 20 inch-pounds with thread locker.
One thing worth knowing going in: because the rear sight moves from the barrel back to the receiver, you may need to fine-tune your zero once it's on. A little range time getting your front-to-rear relationship dialed pays off with a fast, dependable iron sight setup that turns a classic lever gun into a genuinely quick-handling brush rifle.

Plan on it. Because the rear sight moves from the barrel back onto the receiver, the sight geometry changes and you'll want to confirm your zero at the range. Getting your front and rear relationship dialed in is straightforward once you spend a little time behind it.
