Wilson Combat took everything they know about 1911s and handgun ergonomics and applied it to the P365XL platform. This isn't just a minor tweak to the factory grip—it's a complete rethinking of how the gun should feel in your hand.

The grip module starts with a redesigned profile. Where the stock frame is narrow and a bit thin, this module has substance without bloat. The palm swell fills your hand naturally, and the high-cut 1911-style beavertail lets you get a higher grip on the pistol. That higher grip position reduces muzzle flip and gives you better leverage for recoil management, which matters when you're carrying a compact gun that has some snap to it.

Texture and Control

The aggressive texturing on the front and backstrap is noticeable—this is Wilson Combat's exclusive Starburst pattern on the sides paired with serious grip texture where your hand lives. It's designed to be grippy without being uncomfortable during daily carry. The texture works with your body's natural oils to keep the gun where you want it under stress, whether you're at the range or in an IWB holster.

Installation and Features

Installation takes about 5-10 minutes if you've never done it before. The module comes with the factory SIG Sauer magazine release hardware, so you just need to swap the frame and set up the catch the same way it was on the original. The module is non-serialized and compatible with all standard holsters that fit the P365XL, since the footprint stays the same. There are also internal slots built in if you want to add rod-style tungsten weights for more heft and reduced felt recoil.
