Wilson Combat completely redesigned the P365 and P365 XL grip frame from the ground up, working directly with tactical trainers and competitive shooters to dial in something better than factory. The result is a molded polymer grip that's wider than the original, with a high-cut 1911-style beavertail, reshaped backstrap, and undercut front-strap. These changes give you a higher hand position and more purchase on the gun without compromising carry ergonomics.
The key to this grip's performance is texture. Wilson Combat uses their exclusive Starburst grip pattern on the side panels combined with aggressive front and backstrap texturing. This isn't just aggressive for the sake of it either—the pattern actually works. Wearers report noticeably better recoil control and the ability to maintain their grip during rapid fire. The texture is grippy enough to work in sweaty conditions but not so rough that it tears up your holster or your hand during all-day carry.
The XL length matters more than people think. It gets your pinky on the grip instead of dangling off the magazine, which fundamentally changes how you manage recoil. Many find they can shoot faster and more accurately because they're getting four fingers on the gun instead of three. The added length is minimal and still prints no worse than the factory grip for concealed carry.
This is a straightforward swap. You pull the stock grip, slide in the new one, and you're done. This XL module is designed for P365 XL, P365 X, and P365-380 platforms. While it can technically work with the standard P365 if you use P365 XL length (12-round) magazines, it's optimized for XL frames. If you have a standard P365, Wilson Combat offers a shorter grip module specifically designed for that platform.
No tools required. It's a straightforward drop-in replacement that takes about 3 to 5 minutes. You'll remove your slide, pop out the old grip, install the new one, and you're done. The factory magazine release hardware is already compatible.
This particular model is the no manual safety version. Wilson Combat does offer manual safety versions of their P365 XL grip module if that's what you need for your setup.
