This model uses extractors, not automatic ejectors. When you break the action open, spent hulls lift up out of the chambers so you can pull them by hand and pocket them. Weatherby designed it that way on purpose so bird hunters aren't leaving empties scattered across the landscape.
The front trigger fires the right barrel and the rear trigger fires the left. Since they're mechanical rather than inertia driven, the second trigger doesn't rely on recoil from the first shot to set. Combined with the included choke tubes, this gives you instant choke selection for whichever shot presents itself first.
It handles both well. The 28 inch barrels are a genuine middle ground, giving you a smooth, predictable swing on the clays course while staying manageable in the field. With five extended Yildiz chokes included, from Skeet out to Full, you can tune it for close targets or longer presentations.
