The 22-inch spiral fluted barrel keeps things trim without giving up velocity, and it comes threaded 1/2×28 with Weatherby's Accubrake ST installed. Between the brake and the 3DHEX recoil pad, the already mild .308 shoots downright soft, which matters when you are catching your breath at the top of a ridge. The 22-inch barrel is threaded 1/2×28 and comes with the Accubrake ST installed, so you can remove the brake and attach a suppressor or mount that matches the thread pitch.
