Weatherby machined the legendary Mark V action out of titanium, which shaves serious weight without giving up the strength or the famously fast 54 degree bolt throw. Bolted to that action is a 22 inch fluted BSF carbon fiber barrel, built by sleeving a match grade 416R stainless blank in tensioned carbon fiber. The result is a barrel that stays stiff and keeps groups tight as it heats up, all while weighing a fraction of a comparable steel tube.
The .243 Winchester chambering makes this a sweet setup for deer, antelope, and predator work where recoil is already mild and every ounce matters. The updated 1:7.5 twist stabilizes the newer heavy-for-caliber bullets, so you can run modern high BC loads that older .243 barrels never could. Feeding comes from a 4+1 capacity, and the muzzle wears 5/8×24 threads with a machined titanium Accubrake ST installed from the factory. Pull the brake and spin on a suppressor, and the shorter 22 inch barrel keeps the whole package manageable in thick timber.

Yes. Like all Mark V rifles, the Guide Ti is backed by Weatherby's sub-MOA guarantee, meaning a 3-shot group under an inch at 100 yards from a cold barrel. That guarantee applies when using Weatherby factory or premium ammunition, so feed it quality loads and it will hold up its end.
You can, and that's one of the best parts of this model. Weatherby updated the .243 Win twist rate to 1:7.5, which is fast enough to stabilize heavy, high BC bullets in the 100 grain and up range. That opens the door to modern long range loads that a traditional 1:10 twist .243 struggles with.
It is. The 22 inch barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and ships with a machined titanium Accubrake ST installed. Remove the brake and most common .30 caliber and 6mm rated suppressors will thread right on, and the shorter Guide-length barrel keeps overall length reasonable with a can attached.
