Weatherby named the Model 307 after Wyoming's area code, and every one of these rifles comes out of their Sheridan facility. It's a two lug, fully cylindrical design built on the familiar 700 footprint, which means it plays nice with a huge range of aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails, and mounts. The bolt features spiral fluting, an M16 style extractor, and tool-less disassembly, so you can strip it down in the field without digging through your pack. Feeding comes from a detachable Magpul magazine holding five rounds, and the rifle accepts AICS pattern mags if you want more capacity. The TriggerTech Field trigger breaks clean with zero creep and adjusts externally down to 2.5 pounds.
