Designed and built in Sheridan, Wyoming, the 307 uses a two-lug, fully cylindrical action on the Remington 700 footprint, which means the aftermarket is wide open to you. Stocks, triggers, rails, bottom metal, magazines, if it fits a 700 pattern, odds are it works here. The Range XP 2.0 takes that action and dresses it for real work, and this version in .308 Winchester with a 20 inch barrel is arguably the most practical setup in the whole lineup.
The skip-fluted barrel wears a Graphite Black Cerakote finish along with the receiver, bolt, and trigger guard, so the metalwork shrugs off weather and hard use. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and comes capped with Weatherby's radial Accubrake, which cuts felt recoil noticeably and makes spotting your own hits a lot easier. Pull the brake off and you're suppressor ready. The TriggerTech Field trigger breaks clean with zero creep and adjusts externally down to 2.5 pounds, and the two-position safety sits right where your thumb wants it. The three-piece bolt strips down without tools and runs an M16-style extractor for positive, reliable extraction.
The hand-painted synthetic stock features a vertical grip, adjustable cheekpiece, and spacer-adjustable length of pull, so you can set it up for a proper scope height and shoulder fit instead of contorting around the rifle. Dual front sling studs give you room for a bipod and a sling at the same time. Feeding comes from a 5-round Magpul AICS-pattern magazine, and any AICS mag will drop right in.
