Lighter than you'd expect from a magnum-class cartridge in a rifle this trim. The Accubrake DST vents gases to the sides to cut muzzle rise and felt recoil, and the 3D-Hex recoil pad on the Peak 44 stock soaks up a good chunk of what's left. It's still a .300 PRC, but the brake and pad combo makes extended range sessions very doable.

Yes. The BSF carbon fiber barrel is threaded, and the Accubrake DST simply spins off so you can mount a can in its place. Keep in mind the .300 PRC gets the most out of its case with the full 24 inch barrel, so you're not giving up velocity to gain suppressor compatibility.
