The Warne A996M is a one-piece scope base cut specifically for the Browning BAR, giving you a solid, no-guesswork foundation for mounting an optic. It's built from aluminum in a matte black finish that blends in with the rifle's lines, and at right around an ounce it won't add any noticeable weight up top. Warne builds these around the time-tested Weaver pattern, which is one of the more versatile and widely supported mounting standards out there, so you've got plenty of ring options to work with.
