When you just need dependable ear protection without batteries, buttons, or fuss, these Walker's Dual Color Passive Earmuffs get the job done. They carry a 26 dB noise reduction rating and are ANSI S3.19 rated, which puts them right in the sweet spot for pistol and rifle range work, mowing the lawn, running power tools, or standing next to the band at a concert. The lime green and black color scheme also makes them easy to spot in a crowded range bag or on the bench.
Comfort is where these earn their keep. The contoured cups are lined with soft PVC ear pads that seal around your ears without pinching, and the padded headband uses an embossed metal wire frame so it holds its shape while staying easy on the top of your head. They're genuinely lightweight, so you can wear them through a long range session without that clamped-down headache some cheaper muffs cause.
The compact folding design is a nice touch for anyone who's short on space. The cups collapse inward so the muffs take up a fraction of the room they do fully open, making them easy to stuff in a range bag, glove box, or tool chest until you need them. No case required, just fold and go.
Here's the part a lot of folks overlook. Walker's includes a set of 32 NRR foam ear plugs in the package. Wear the muffs on their own for everyday protection, or run the plugs underneath the muffs when you're on an indoor line or shooting bigger calibers and want that extra layer of quiet. It's a smart bit of value that makes this a solid grab for a first set of hearing protection or a backup pair to keep around.
The muffs carry a 26 dB noise reduction rating and are ANSI S3.19 rated. That covers most range and workshop use well on its own. If you want more, the included 32 NRR foam plugs let you double up under the muffs for extra protection on indoor lines or with larger calibers.
No. These are passive muffs, which means no batteries, no electronics, and nothing to switch on. You just put them on and they work, which makes them dead simple and reliable for anyone who doesn't want the extra hassle of electronic muffs.
They're built for it. The soft PVC ear pads and padded headband spread the pressure out, and the muffs are genuinely lightweight so they don't wear on you over a long session. Many people find them easy to keep on for hours without the clamped-down headache cheaper muffs can cause.
Yes. The cups fold inward for a compact profile, so they pack down much smaller than they look when open. That makes them easy to toss in a range bag, glove box, or tool chest and grab when you need them.
