Anyone who works with their hands knows the drill: busted knuckles, torn palms, and the kind of scrapes that come from grabbing something you didn't see the sharp edge on. Walker's Impact Protection Gloves in size Large are built to take that punishment for you. Molded impact bumpers run across the knuckles, metacarpals, and fingers, and the shell is rated to resist abrasion, cuts, tears, and punctures with an impact rating of 2. The synthetic leather and foam palm soaks up shock and vibration, so you feel less of the sting when things get rough.
This is the Improved Grip version of Walker's popular impact glove, and that upgrade matters in the field. It carries a polyurethane diamond pattern across the palm plus a pull strap, both of which help you keep a confident hold on gear even in wet or slick conditions. The hook and loop wrist closure cinches down for a snug fit and makes pulling the gloves on and off quick work.
These are a genuine crossover glove. At the range they protect against hot brass, sharp mag lips, and the everyday wear of handling firearms and gear. Around the shop, the yard, or on the job site they hold up to hauling, wrenching, and demanding work. The hi-viz yellow and black color scheme isn't just for looks either, it keeps your hands visible when that counts.
Walker's built these with dexterity in mind, so the bumpers guard the back of your hand without turning your fingers into sausages. You can still work a bolt, thumb a magazine release, or grab small hardware without pulling them off. The size Large fits most adult hands well, and the adjustable strap lets you dial in the tension. For anyone who wants tough hand protection that pulls double duty between range days and real work, these check a lot of boxes.
The impact rating of 2 tells you how much shock the glove's bumpers and padding are built to absorb across the back of the hand and fingers. It's a solid level of protection for handling gear, tools, and firearms without making the glove feel bulky. You get real knuckle and finger coverage while keeping enough movement to work.
Yes. This model adds a polyurethane diamond pattern across the palm plus a pull strap on top of all the standard impact glove features. That combination gives you a stronger, more confident hold on gear and tools, including in wet or slick conditions.
You can. Walker's designed the bumpers to guard the back of your hand without killing dexterity, so you can work a bolt, hit a magazine release, or grab small hardware. Most folks find they don't need to pull the gloves off for detailed tasks.
The size Large is cut to fit most adult hands, and the hook and loop wrist strap lets you tighten things down for a snug, secure feel. That closure also makes them fast to pull on and take off. If you're between sizes, the adjustable strap gives you some room to fine-tune the fit.
