Walker's built its name on hearing protection, and these foam ear plugs are the no-nonsense version of that. Each plug is made from soft polyurethane foam that compresses down small, slips into the ear canal, and expands to seal against the shape of your ear. You roll, insert, and let them expand for a snug fit that blocks out the crack of gunfire, power tools, mowers, and just about any other loud environment. The 32 dB Noise Reduction Rating puts them right up there with the better disposable plugs on the market.
The big draw here is the count. You get 50 pairs (100 individual plugs) sealed in a plastic jar, so there's a stash on hand for range days, guests who forgot their own protection, or tossing a few in a range bag, truck console, and toolbox. Foam plugs are disposable by design, so having a big jar means you swap in a fresh clean pair whenever you want instead of reusing grimy ones.
These are a favorite for pistol and rifle ranges, and a lot of folks double them up under muffs when they're running something loud like a braked rifle or shooting indoors. Beyond the range they work great for hunting, yard work, woodshop time, concerts, travel, and sleeping through a snoring partner. The teal color makes them easy to spot if one falls, and the soft foam stays comfortable even during long sessions.
Bottom line, this is dependable, grab-and-go hearing protection from a brand that's been doing this for decades. Keep the jar where you'll need it and you'll always have a clean pair ready to go.
These plugs carry a 32 dB Noise Reduction Rating, which puts them at the higher end for disposable foam plugs. That level of protection handles gunshots at the range along with loud tools, machinery, and other high-noise environments. For maximum protection when shooting indoors or running something extra loud, plenty of people wear them under a set of muffs too.
Roll the plug between your fingers to compress it into a thin cylinder, then insert it into your ear canal and hold it in place for a few seconds while it expands. Once it fully expands it seals against the shape of your ear for the rated protection. If it feels loose or you can still hear normally, pull it out and try again with a tighter roll and deeper seat.
Foam plugs like these are designed as disposable, single-use protection. The soft foam picks up dirt and moisture over time and slowly loses its ability to fully expand, which is exactly why the 50 pair jar makes sense. Swap in a fresh clean pair whenever you need one and toss the old set.
They're right at home at the range and hunting, but the soft foam works just as well for yard work, the woodshop, concerts, travel, and sleeping through noise. Having a full jar means you always have protection on hand wherever loud noise shows up. The teal color also makes a dropped plug easy to find.
