If you want to fine-tune the feel even further, you can pair this with Volquartsen's target hammer kit for a complete trigger job.
Getting this in your rifle takes basic hand tools and about an hour of your time. The trigger installs into your existing housing with included shims to dial in the fit. Just note this won't work with Ruger's BX-trigger housing, and the installation guide lives online with video support if you need help during the process.
This trigger fits all factory Ruger 10/22 and 10/22 Magnum trigger groups, as well as the Ruger Charger pistol. It will not fit rifles using Ruger's newer BX-trigger housing. Check your current trigger housing before ordering if you're unsure.
The VC10TT itself doesn't significantly reduce pull weight on its own compared to factory. To get the full benefit, most users pair it with Volquartsen's target hammer kit, which brings the total pull weight down to around 2.5-2.75 pounds. The trigger's real advantage is giving you a crisp, clean break and letting you adjust overtravel.
Installation requires disassembling the trigger group, so it's more involved than a true drop-in. The process is straightforward with basic hand tools, and most people find it takes about an hour. Volquartsen provides online instructions with video support, which helps a lot if you get stuck.
The VC10TT's pull weight is not adjustable, but you can dial in the overtravel to get your preferred feel. If you need pull weight adjustment too, look at Volquartsen's higher-end TG2000 model instead, or pair this trigger with their target hammer kit.
