Each button is machined to milspec dimensions and drops right into any standard AR-15 or M16 lower.
These are cut from 6061-T6 aluminum bar stock and finished in a hard-coat anodize, which is the same recipe you'd expect on a quality factory part. That anodizing does more than look sharp in matte black. It adds real wear resistance for a piece your thumb hits every single time you reload. They're also made in the USA and built to standard specs, so fit and feel match what came out of your rifle originally.

You'll drop the catch and spring in on the left, then compress the spring by pressing the button in and rotating the catch until the threads seat and the button sits flush and moves freely. A flathead screwdriver or a purpose-built mag catch tool makes the job easier and keeps you from marring the finish. Once it's in, test with an empty magazine to confirm it locks up and drops free clean every time.
