Viridian C5L Custom Green Laser & Light for Kimber CDS9

Description

Kimber's Micro CDS9 was built as a slim, high capacity carry gun, and Viridian designed the C5L Custom specifically around it rather than forcing a universal mount to fit. The result is a laser and light combo that hugs the frame instead of adding bulk, giving CDS9 owners a real upgrade in target acquisition and low light capability without changing how the gun carries day to day.

Fit and Build of the C5L Custom for Kimber CDS9

This unit is machined from 6061 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish, so it holds up to holster wear and the occasional bump without looking beat up after a few months of carry. The rear cutout is shaped to wrap around the CDS9's trigger guard for a tight, custom fit rather than a generic clamp on mount. Keep in mind this version is molded exclusively for the Kimber CDS9 and won't transfer over to a standard Micro 9 or any other pistol.

Beam Output on the C5L Green Laser and Light

The tactical light side puts out 550 lumens and 26,000 candela, which gives you a strong, far reaching beam for identifying a threat across a room or down a hallway. Three selectable modes let you run full power for maximum brightness, a mid setting that stretches battery life while still throwing a solid beam, or a low output mode for close range use that can run up to an hour on a charge. A strobe setting is built in as well for situations where disorientation works in your favor.

Laser Precision and Charging on the C5L Custom

The green laser itself is rated under 5mW and stays visible in daylight, not just in a dark room, which matters if you're training or carrying during the day. Draw the pistol from a compatible holster and INSTANT-ON wakes the unit automatically, so there's no button to hunt for when it counts. Charging is handled through a magnetic recharge port paired with the included SAFECharge power bank, and the housing carries an IPX6 water resistance rating so a little rain or sweat isn't going to be a problem.
