Slimline pistols like the Glock 43X MOS, Glock 48, and FN Reflex don't leave much room for a bulky light, and that's exactly the gap the Viridian CTL Slim fills. This one is purpose-built for those specific frames, so it mounts to the accessory rail for a straight, tight fit with no wobble and no overhang hanging past the muzzle. You get 550 lumens and 17,000 candela of focused white light packed into a housing that barely adds any bulk to your carry setup.
The body is machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, so it shrugs off knocks and holds up to weather with an IPX6 water resistance rating. Controls are fully ambidextrous, meaning you can run the light and cycle modes from either side without changing your grip. The real party trick is Viridian's patented INSTANT-ON technology: pair it with an INSTANT-ON compatible holster and the light activates automatically the instant you clear leather, and it exits in the same mode it went in.
The CTL Slim gives you three usable settings plus a strobe. Mode one throws the full 550 lumens with a tight, far-reaching beam for target identification and long-range visibility. Mode two dials things back to stretch runtime while still putting out a strong beam, and mode three drops to a softer output for close, discreet tasks. Runtime lands at up to 60 minutes depending on how you're running it.
Here's where Viridian solved the biggest headache with rechargeable weapon lights. The SAFECharge power bank stores right alongside your firearm and tops the light off through a magnetic connector, waking up when it senses a charge is needed and shutting off when full. That means no pulling the light off the gun to charge it and no leaving your setup dead when you need it. It's a genuinely smart answer to keeping a rechargeable light ready around the clock.
Yes. The CTL Slim is custom-built for the Glock 43X MOS, Glock 48, and FN Reflex, so it mounts to the accessory rail for a straight, tight fit with no wobble and no overhang past the muzzle. Because it's frame-specific rather than a universal-fit light, you skip the guesswork of adjusting rail spacers to get it snug.
The light runs on an internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery, and the included SAFECharge power bank tops it off through a magnetic connector. You can store the SAFECharge right alongside your firearm, and it automatically wakes to charge the light when needed, then shuts off once it's full. That keeps the light ready without pulling it off the gun every time it needs juice.
INSTANT-ON is Viridian's patented activation feature that fires the light up automatically the moment you draw the pistol, exiting the holster in the same mode it went in. To use it you'll need an INSTANT-ON compatible holster designed to trigger the feature. Without that holster the light still works normally through its ambidextrous push-button controls.
It puts out 550 lumens and 17,000 candela on its highest setting, with runtime up to 60 minutes depending on which mode you're using. The mid and low modes stretch battery life for longer searches or close-up tasks, and there's a strobe setting as well. For a light this compact, that's a strong output-to-size ratio.
