The Viridian 4LUX CQ is one of those accessories that makes you wonder why nobody did it sooner. The headline feature is Viridian's Grip 'N Rip activation. There's a pressure pad recessed into the handstop portion, so the light kicks on the instant you grab the grip and shuts off when you let go. No thumbing a button, no reaching for a tail cap. Just take a firing grip and you've got light. That kind of intuitive control is exactly what you want in a defensive setup where your hands are already busy.
The 4LUX is constructed from high-strength thermo-molded polymer with a machined aluminum LED housing that helps dissipate heat. It's rated for impact and weather resistance and runs across a wide temperature range, from bitter cold to desert heat. The 4LUX uses Viridian's Grip 'N Rip activation, which places a pressure pad inside the handstop portion of the grip.
