The Unity Tactical SPARK is proof that the most useful gear is often the smallest. At just over half an inch thick and weighing about seven tenths of an ounce, this little marker light disappears onto a helmet, plate carrier, chest rig, or pretty much anything you can stick Velcro to. It was originally built to keep oil platform workers visible in rough conditions, and that industrial DNA shows up in how tough and no-nonsense it is.

What the SPARK White Light Does Best

The whole point here is fast, reliable personal identification. Whether you're running low-light training, need to be spotted by teammates, or want a beacon on your kit at night, the white LED gets the job done. One press of the silicone center cycles it through constant low, constant high, blink, and off, and there's a satisfying tactile click so you know exactly which mode you're in even when the light is mounted somewhere you can't see. That blink mode doubles nicely as an emergency strobe when you need to be found.

Built to Take Abuse

The SPARK is fully encapsulated in a flexible silicone body, which makes it waterproof and shrugs off knocks, drops, and grime. There are no battery doors to fail or gaskets to worry about since the whole thing is sealed. It runs for over 200 hours on its internal battery, and it's designed to be affordable enough that agencies and units can issue them without thinking twice.

Mounting the SPARK Marker Light

The unit comes backed with hook Velcro, and Unity includes a separate adhesive-backed loop patch so you can stick it to hard surfaces that don't already have a loop field. Guys run these on helmets, vehicles, gear, and even dog collars for nighttime visibility. If you want more options, the separately sold SPARK Cage lets you weave it onto webbing or snap it to metal with built-in magnets.
