Running a magnified optic is great until you need a close-range target fast. The Unity Tactical FAST LPVO Offset Optic Base solves that by giving you a dedicated platform to bolt a mini red dot sight onto your FAST LPVO scope mount, so a quick cant of the rifle puts you on a non-magnified dot without fumbling for a new sight picture. It attaches to either the forward or rearward mounting holes in the FAST LPVO Scope Mount, which keeps your setup clean and repeatable.
This is the base only. To actually mount a red dot, you pair it with a FAST Offset Optic Adapter Plate matched to your optic's footprint, which is sold separately. Once that's in place, your mini red dot sits at a 35 degree offset from the scope tube and lands at a mechanical centerline of 2.05 inches above the rail. That geometry puts the dot right where your eye expects it when you roll the rifle, and the adapter plates can be positioned in forward cantilever, centered, or rearward cantilever spots to dial in eye relief and clearance.
The base is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and wears a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in Flat Dark Earth, so it holds up to recoil, weather, and daily handling without flex or finish wear. It tips the scale at right around 0.9 ounces, so you're adding a serious capability without any real weight penalty to the rifle.
This base is built specifically for the FAST LPVO Scope Mount and needs an adapter plate to function, so make sure you've got the LPVO mount and the correct plate for your dot before setting it up. For anyone running an LPVO who wants a true one-two optic system, this is the clean, factory-engineered way to get there.
Not quite. This is the base only, and it ships with its mounting hardware. To mount a mini red dot you'll also need a FAST Offset Optic Adapter Plate matched to your optic's footprint, which is sold separately, along with a FAST LPVO Scope Mount to attach it to.
The 35 degree angle places your mini red dot off to the side of your magnified optic, so a quick cant of the rifle brings the dot up for close targets. It lets you run a true two-optic setup, keeping your LPVO for distance and your dot for speed, without swapping sight pictures or losing time.
This base is designed specifically for the Unity Tactical FAST LPVO Scope Mount and attaches to its forward or rearward mounting holes. It is not a universal rail clamp, so it needs that FAST LPVO mount to work as intended.
When paired with a FAST Offset Optic Adapter Plate, your mini red dot sits at a mechanical centerline of 2.05 inches above the rail. The plates can also be mounted in forward cantilever, centered, or rearward positions to fine-tune eye relief and clearance for your build.
