The Unity Tactical FAST FTC Holosun mount was built around one simple goal: get a Holosun magnifier behind your red dot without the compromises that come with universal mounts. It machines the clamp and flip geometry specifically around the Holosun magnifier body, so the HM3X, HM3XT, or HM6X sits at the correct height for a red dot mounted at Unity's 2.26-inch optical centerline. The payoff is a true, edge-to-edge view through the glass with no clipping at the bottom of the sight picture.
Unlike a flip-to-side setup, the FTC (flip-to-center) design stows the magnifier down and forward, parking it below the sight plane and within the footprint of your receiver. That means no snag points on slings, chest rigs, or vehicle racks, and a completely unobstructed red dot the moment you don't need magnification. For anyone running a tight setup with limited lateral clearance, that below-sight stow is a real advantage over legacy designs that hang off to the side.
The force-to-overcome mechanism is the heart of this mount. Instead of a spring-loaded hinge that snaps around on its own, you physically push the magnifier through its range of motion in either direction. It moves when you move it and stays put when you stop, so handling, transport, or a bumpy ride won't flip it out of position. Deploying back to center is symmetric, no secondary lever and no fumbling with fine motor skills under stress.
The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodize, which holds up to repeated mounting cycles and real field abuse. The OMNI is a universal mount that accepts a wide range of magnifiers including Holosun, but with certain 2.26-inch red dots its geometry can clip the lower portion of the sight picture. The FTC Holosun uses a Holosun-specific footprint that eliminates that overlap for a clean, edge-to-edge view. If you're committed to a Holosun magnifier, the dedicated mount gives you the better alignment.
Instead of a spring that snaps the magnifier between positions on its own, the force-to-overcome design requires you to physically push the magnifier through its travel in either direction. It moves when you move it and stays exactly where you leave it, so it won't flip out of position during handling or transport. The result is direct, tactile control over the transition.
