The AXON SL is the smaller, single-button member of Unity Tactical's AXON family, built for anyone who wants clean, low-profile control over a SureFire-plugged weapon light without shifting their firing grip. This version ships with a 7-inch single-lead cable in Flat Dark Earth, and it hardmounts straight to any M1913 Picatinny rail so you get a stable, no-wobble platform right out of the package. Weighing under an ounce and a half, it stays out of the way of your other accessories while giving you a dedicated switch exactly where your hand naturally lands.
The standout feature here is the 45-degree angled button face. Instead of forcing your thumb or finger into an awkward reach, that angle puts the pad right at a natural indexing point, which pays off when you're moving fast, wearing gloves, or working through rough weather. The mechanical switch uses a familiar click tailcap feel, so pressing gives you momentary output and a full click locks you into constant-on. It's an intuitive setup that doesn't require relearning how you run your light.
Unity molds the AXON SL from high-impact polymer with a matte finish, so it holds up to the kind of abuse a duty gun or hard-use rifle sees. The compact footprint is deliberate. It gives you a functional switch surface without hogging rail space you'd rather save for a light body, laser, or hand stop. If you later want to run it on an M-LOK handguard, Unity offers an optional M-LOK mounting kit that adapts the same switch over.
This is the SureFire single-lead configuration, so it's a match for SureFire Scout-style lights and other flashlights using a SureFire remote plug. Installation is straightforward: clamp it to your rail, route the 7-inch lead to your light's tailcap port, and you're set. For a lot of folks building out a clean, dependable weapon-light setup, this is the switch that ties it all together.
This is the single-lead SureFire configuration, so it pairs with SureFire Scout-style weapon lights and other flashlights that use a SureFire remote plug on their tailcap port. It supports both momentary and constant-on activation through the mechanical click switch. If your light runs a different plug style, Unity offers the AXON SL in other lead options.
Out of the box the AXON SL hardmounts directly to any M1913 Picatinny rail using the included hardware. If you want to run it on an M-LOK handguard, Unity sells an optional AXON SL M-LOK mounting kit that adapts the same switch. That keeps you from having to buy a whole new switch if you change setups down the road.
