The Cylinder & Slide Ultra Light Speed II Kit is a complete five-piece trigger pull set built for serious 1911 competition guns. It bundles together the Ultra Light Speed II Chamfered Hammer, a Low Mass Sear, Low Mass Disconnector, a Light Pull Sear Spring, and a Wolff hammer spring. Every set is prepped and matched at the shop to deliver a clean 3.0 lb pull without any stoning of the sear or hammer, so most of the fiddly fitting work is already handled before it lands in your hands.
The star of the show is the hammer. It's the lightest alloy steel hammer C&S offers, cut down and skeletonized to shed as much mass as possible. Less mass means the hammer accelerates faster when it drops, which shrinks lock time to a minimum. For anyone shooting fast strings on the clock, that quicker ignition translates to better timing and a gun that feels like it goes bang the instant you break the shot. The thumb cocking piece and chamfered edges are there to keep things smooth and cut down on slide drag.
This is a drop-in set in the sense that the hard machining and matching are done for you, but the sear spring still needs to be properly tensioned to land at that 3.0 lb number in your specific pistol. That's normal for a set this light and dialed. If you're comfortable working inside a 1911 or have a gunsmith you trust, you'll get there quickly. The parts are heat treated to hold their edges through thousands of rounds, so once it's tuned it stays consistent match after match.
