The Uncle Mike's Quick Detach 115 CF full-band sling swivels use a wraparound band that clamps directly to the magazine tube, giving you a solid front mounting point without changing the traditional lines of the rifle.
The front stud is a full band that fits magazine tube diameters from .645 to .660 inches, which covers the tube dimensions on most Winchester and Marlin centerfire lever actions. The rear base is a wood screw that threads into the buttstock. Plenty of folks who've done this install find the rear screw lines up with an existing buttplate hole, so the only real drilling is a single pilot hole in the stock. Take your time getting it straight and in line with the bore and you'll end up with a clean, tight fit.
The swivels themselves are true quick-detach with spring-loaded plungers, so you press the button and the sling comes off in a second. That Swivelock mechanism also helps keep the swivel from popping open on its own out in the field, which matters when you're dragging a rifle through brush or slinging it over a shoulder for a long walk.
