The TTI Versatile Base Pad is purpose-built for serious shooters and competitors who want to squeeze more capacity out of their existing magazines. Unlike single-platform base pads, this one is engineered to work across multiple pistol models, making it a smart investment if you run different platforms or want flexibility as your gear evolves.
This extension adds three to five extra rounds depending on which magazine you're running it on. A Beretta 92 magazine picks up four rounds, the Sig P226 gains five, and the newer P365 X-Macro adds three. The included TTI universal extra power spring works with the added capacity to ensure reliable feeding without having to source different springs for different setups.
The front edge is beveled specifically to clear most magwell designs. Whether you're running a competition magwell or standard duty setup, this pad won't bind or catch. The design shows real-world testing—it handles flared magwells and aftermarket funnel-style designs that would cause clearance issues with other extensions.
Machined from billet 6061 aluminum and hard anodized in titanium gray, this base pad uses TTI's patented push-pin design. You can swap it on and off without special tools, making it easy to maintain magazines between range sessions or competitions. The added weight at the base of the magazine actually serves a practical purpose too. It helps empty magazines eject faster and more reliably during reloads, which matters whether you're running drills or counting milliseconds in a competition stage.
The set screws come pre-set with Loctite and are tensioned for optimal retention. Once installed, they generally don't need adjustment.
TTI officially confirms compatibility with Mec-Gar Beretta 92/M9 (18-round), Sig Sauer P226 (15-round), Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro (17-round), Walther PDP (18-round), and Canik TP-9 and Rival (18-round) magazines. The company is continuing to test other magazine models, so check their website for the latest compatibility list if your platform isn't listed.
The TTI universal extra power spring is included with the base pad and is designed to work reliably with the added capacity. It's engineered to handle the full extended magazine without feeding issues or reliability concerns.
The patented push-pin system lets you attach and remove the base pad without tools. You simply depress the pin, slide the base pad on or off, and release the pin to lock it in place. The set screws come pre-tensioned with Loctite and generally don't need adjustment after installation.
The beveled front edge is designed to clear most magwell designs, including flared and funnel-style magwells.
