The factory Hellcat barrel gets the job done, but if you want more out of your everyday carry gun, this True Precision drop-in barrel is where a lot of people start. It's built for the standard 3.1" Hellcat 9mm and cut to squeeze better accuracy and cleaner feeding out of a pistol that's already earned its reputation. No threading here, so it keeps the same slim, snag-free profile that makes the Hellcat easy to conceal, just with tighter tolerances behind it.
True Precision uses their own broach-cut, 6-groove rifling with a 1-in-10 right-hand twist. That rifling style means you can run just about any ammo you want through it, including cast lead loads that a lot of polygonal factory barrels warn you away from. The chamber is cut to SAAMI spec and the feed ramp, chamfers, and radius cuts are all reworked for a fit that's a step above OEM. On a carry gun, reliable feeding matters as much as accuracy, and this barrel is designed with both in mind.
The black nitride here is a QPQ treatment, sometimes called Melonite in the industry. Instead of sitting on top of the steel like a coating, it hardens the surface from within, giving you a deep, jet-black look that shrugs off wear and makes cleanup easier at the end of a range day. It's a practical finish that looks sharp without being flashy.
