No, the Alpha Rail does not include a barrel nut. It's designed to mount to a standard AR15/M16 barrel nut, so most uppers will work as-is. One thing to note is that it will not work with the older TRX barrel nut or TRX barrel wrench, so don't try to reuse those from an Extreme series rail.
