The APOC is TriStar's entry into one of the most competitive corners of the handgun market: the compact 9mm. Built around a Gen 3 Glock 19 footprint by Kral Arms in Turkey, it lands at a size most people already know how to shoot. The frame is a textured FDE Cerakote polymer with a serrated steel slide, dual cocking serrations fore and aft, a deep-undercut trigger guard for a high grip, and a textured memory pad forward of the trigger. Two interchangeable backstraps let you dial in the grip fit to your hand. At roughly 25 ounces, it balances well and carries without feeling like a boat anchor.
Where the APOC noticeably steps up from other budget options is the sights. Both front and rear are steel with fiber-optic inserts, a genuine upgrade over the plastic units many name-brand pistols still ship with. The red front orb and green rear give you a high-contrast picture that snaps into focus fast, especially in low light. The trigger uses a red-accented safety blade and breaks at around 5.6 pounds, right in line with what you'd expect from the Gen 3 platform. It's nothing exotic, but it's clean and consistent.
One of the quiet wins here is the parts and holster ecosystem. Because the APOC shares its dimensions with the Gen 3 G19, it fits a massive library of existing holsters and accepts Glock-pattern aftermarket sights right off the shelf. The two included magazines are Glock G19-pattern compatible as well, so sourcing extras is no problem. The Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover accepts standard weapon lights, and the magwell attachment is available separately if faster reloads are a priority. Every APOC is backed by TriStar's five-year warranty, which is reassuring for a pistol at this price point.
Yes. The APOC shares the same basic dimensions as the Gen 3 Glock 19, so the vast majority of G19 holsters work without any modification. This gives you access to a huge range of IWB, OWB, and duty holster options right out of the gate. It has been confirmed to fit every G19 holster tested in multiple independent reviews.
It ships with two 15-round magazines that follow the Glock G19 pattern, so they are widely available for replacement or extras. Standard Glock and Magpul G19-pattern magazines have also been tested and confirmed to work in the APOC.
The standard APOC does not have an optics cut from the factory. The slide can be sent out for milling if you want to run a red dot, and because the APOC is dimensionally compatible with Gen 3 Glock aftermarket slides, swapping to an optics-ready slide is a viable path. The steel fiber-optic sights that come on the gun are also compatible with standard Glock replacement sight options.
The APOC uses a striker-fired trigger with an integrated trigger-blade safety, similar in function to what you'd find on a Gen 3 Glock. It breaks at approximately 5.6 pounds, which is consistent and predictable for both range sessions and defensive use. The trigger shoe features a red accent on the safety blade.
Like many new pistols, the APOC benefits from a proper cleaning and lubrication before the first range visit. Some reviews noted minor feeding issues within the first 50 to 100 rounds that resolved after the gun was cleaned and lubed. Once broken in, the pistol ran reliably through extended testing with a variety of 115 to 147 grain 9mm loads.
