When you thread on a can or run a slide-mounted optic, standard height sights disappear below the added bulk. Trijicon built these Suppressor/Optic Height Night Sights to fix that. The extra tall front and rear posts rise above the profile of a suppressor and line up right through a red dot window, giving you a real iron sight solution instead of guesswork. This is the yellow front version with a black rear and green tritium lamps all around, cut for a square notch sight picture and built to drop onto standard frame Glock models.
These carry over the same low-light and no-light performance that made the Bright and Tough line a benchmark. Each tritium lamp glows on its own with zero batteries, so you get a visible three-dot picture whether you are in a dim hallway or full dark. The yellow front dot gives your eye something bright to grab in daylight, which speeds up that first sight alignment when it counts.
Trijicon doesn't skimp on the internals. Each tritium vial sits inside a protective aluminum cylinder cushioned by silicone rubber, so the lamps shrug off recoil and rough handling. The lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that spreads the light evenly and shields it from cleaning solvents and punctures. The green lamps carry a 12-year warranty from the date of manufacture, so you get a long service life out of them.
This set fits a wide spread of standard frame Glock pistols, including the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39 and 45. Because these are pressed into place, professional installation with the proper sight pusher is the way to go. Whether you're running suppressed or backing up a Trijicon RMR or other pistol red dot, these give you a rugged fallback you can trust.
Yes. These are built tall enough to line up through a pistol-mounted red dot window, so they work as backup iron sights alongside a Trijicon RMR or similar optic. If your dot ever goes down or the window fogs, you still have a usable sight picture.
No. The green tritium lamps glow on their own with no batteries and no light exposure required. That means a consistent three-dot picture in total darkness, and the green lamps are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture.
This version has a yellow front outline with a green tritium lamp, paired with a black outline rear that also uses green tritium. The yellow front helps your eye pick up the sight fast in daylight while all three dots glow green after dark.
Trijicon recommends professional installation. These sights press into the dovetails and need a proper sight pusher tool for correct fit and to avoid damaging the sights or slide. Most local gunsmiths and gun shops can knock this out quickly.
