Description

This is TriggerTech's top-tier Diamond trigger built specifically for left-hand Remington 700 clone actions, and it's the one serious precision folks reach for. It's a single-stage, traditional curved lever with a red anodized 7075 aluminum housing and a PVD black finish, and it was developed alongside the K&M Shooting Team and several R700 clone action makers to hit exactly what top competitors were asking for. The result is a drop-in trigger that feels flat-out different the first time you press it.

What sets it apart is Frictionless Release Technology paired with TriggerTech's Zero Creep design. Instead of relying on polishing, coatings, or lubrication on the key engagement surfaces, a free-floating roller does the work. That means a true zero-creep break, sub .010 inch overtravel, and pulls that stay consistent from the first round through thousands more. Once you feel how clean the break is, you tend to notice the creep in every other trigger you own.

Dialing In the Diamond's Pull Weight

The Diamond uses Variable Rate Adjustment Technology to cover a huge range, from less than 4 oz up to 32 oz. The adjustment is fine down low, roughly 0.2 oz per click between 4 and 9 oz, then steps up to about 1 oz per click from 9 to 32 oz. That gives you feather-light settings for benchrest and heavier, more field-friendly weights when you want them, all from a single trigger.

Built to Last in the Diamond Trigger

The internals are hardened 440C stainless steel, and five of the critical components come matched as a set to deliver that signature clean feel. Between the stainless guts and the corrosion resistance built in, this trigger is made for the long haul whether you're on the clock at a PRS match, stretching things out at ultra long range, or hunting in rough weather.

Heads up on fitment: this Diamond is made for cloned actions only and does not include a bolt release, so it's meant for actions with a side bolt stop that have been properly tuned and timed. It carries a lever safety and a lifetime warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Diamond fit any Remington 700?

This Diamond is built for Remington 700 clone actions only and does not come with a bolt release, so it's intended for actions that use a side bolt stop. It also needs an action that has been properly tuned and timed. If you install it in an untimed action, the firing pin assembly can contact the sear during the bolt throw, so make sure your action is set up for a no-bolt-release trigger before dropping it in.

How light can I set the TriggerTech Diamond trigger?

The Diamond adjusts from less than 4 oz all the way up to 32 oz using Variable Rate Adjustment Technology. Between 4 and 9 oz you get fine steps of roughly 0.2 oz per click, then about 1 oz per click from 9 to 32 oz. Keep in mind that pull weight is affected by your firing pin spring, so an overweight spring can push the actual weight above the advertised range.

What makes the Diamond feel so crisp compared to other triggers?

The Diamond uses Frictionless Release Technology with a free-floating roller instead of sliding sear surfaces, which gives it a true zero-creep break and very short overtravel. Because it doesn't depend on polishing, coatings, or lube to feel good, the pull stays consistent shot after shot. Most people notice the difference immediately and start feeling the creep in their other triggers.

Is this a left-hand specific trigger?

Yes, this particular model (MPN R7L-SRB-02-TNC) is the left-hand version with a traditional curved lever. It's the same flagship Diamond internals, just configured for left-hand clone actions.
