The TISAS PX-9 Carry Gen 3 TS is a compact, polymer-frame, striker-fired 9mm built for everyday carry. It takes the full-size PX-9 Duty platform and trims it down to a 6.6-inch overall length with a 3.5-inch forged and button-rifled barrel, running P228-pattern 15-round magazines. The forged carbon steel slide wears front and rear cocking serrations and comes factory-milled for direct RMR-footprint optic mounting, with a 1/3 co-witness maintained when running the included iron sights. This is the TS variant, which adds an ambidextrous manual thumb safety on top of the integrated trigger blade safety, giving you that extra layer of retention if that is your preference for a carry gun.
The trigger is the first thing most people notice. It is a flat-face design with an integrated blade safety and a pull weight that comes in around 4 pounds with a clean, relatively short reset. For a pistol in this price range, that feel is genuinely uncommon. The sights are Glock-pattern, meaning a serrated black rear and a fiber-optic front that picks up light well in varied conditions.
