The AR PCC Single-Stage Curved Trigger is a complete, self-contained assembly that drops right into your lower and comes tuned from the factory to break clean between 2.5 and 3 pounds. There's no creep to work through and no adjustment screws to fuss with, so you can pull it out of the box and head straight to the range.

What Sets the AR PCC Trigger Apart from a Standard AR Unit

Running a regular AR-15 trigger in a blowback PCC can cause headaches, mainly light primer strikes on handgun cartridges and parts that wear out under the harder recoil impulse of a pistol-caliber gun. Timney designed this trigger to handle those forces and reliably light off 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP ammunition. The trigger, hammer, and bridge are heat-treated steel riding in a machined 6061 T6 anodized aluminum housing, so it holds up to a high round count.

Installing the Timney PCC Curved Trigger

Because it's a modular drop-in, installation is about as simple as it gets. The unit uses your rifle's original hammer and trigger pins along with your existing safety selector, and it needs no extra parts to get running. Most folks have it seated and torqued down in a few minutes with basic hand tools, which is a nice change from wrestling with individual springs and pins.

The curved shoe gives you that familiar, traditional finger placement a lot of people prefer, and the black finish keeps a clean look inside the lower. Keep in mind this model is built for AR-style pistol-caliber carbines and is not compatible with the SIG SAUER MPX or the Aero Precision EPC9.
