This silver version drops straight into Gen5 pistols and hands you a clean 3-pound break with a firm, defined wall and none of the mushy take-up the factory setup is known for. It feels almost like a light two-stage, where you pull through the initial slack, hit a crisp wall, and break with no creep.
The secret is in the coating and the geometry. The trigger bar and sear get a Teflon Nickel (NP3) finish that nearly eliminates friction, so every pull feels smooth and repeatable instead of gritty. The straight, anodized aluminum shoe carries an integrated safety blade and gives you a consistent contact point shot after shot. Timney put this design through an independent test where it ran 10,000 rounds with no cleaning and no oiling and finished without a single malfunction, which tells you it was built to be shot hard.
This is a genuine drop-in. You reuse your factory connector and trigger housing, and the kit handles the rest with the trigger shoe, trigger bar, sear assembly, C-clip washer, screw, and a tool. Most folks knock the swap out in about 15 to 20 minutes with a punch set, and there's no permanent modification to your pistol. There's even a set screw up top that lets you dial in the take-up to your liking, so you can fine-tune the feel once it's in.

It works with the double-stack, medium-frame Gen5 lineup, including the G17, G19, G19X, G22, G23, G26, G27, G33, G34, G35, and G45, plus the G44 in 22 LR. It is not made for single-stack or large-frame models like the G20, G21, G40, or G43.
The trigger ships factory-set at a clean 3-pound pull. There's a set screw at the top of the shoe that lets you tune the initial take-up to your preference, as long as the trigger safety still functions properly. The 3-pound break itself is the calibrated factory weight.
The reset is short and very tactile, which is one of the big reasons people move to this trigger. Combined with the crisp break and reduced overtravel, it makes fast, controlled follow-up shots easier than the factory setup, which is exactly what you want on the clock.
