The factory Glock trigger gets a lot of shooters where they need to go, but nobody has ever called it crisp. Timney set out to change that with the Alpha Competition, and this bronze version is built specifically for large-frame Gen 3 and Gen 4 pistols. Instead of the vague, spongy feel Glocks are known for, you get a light take-up, a firm and clearly defined wall, and a clean break at right around 3 pounds. It reads almost like a two-stage trigger, which is a big part of why competitors have gravitated toward it.
The heart of this trigger is the completely redesigned sear and trigger bar. Both are coated in Teflon nickel (NP3), which cuts friction down to almost nothing and gives the pull that smooth, glassy feel that no amount of polishing a stock connector can match. The trigger shoe itself is machined from anodized aluminum with a straight face and a safety blade, so it feels more comfortable and helps you pull straight to the rear instead of fighting the pinch you sometimes get from the plastic factory shoe.

If you're running a standard-frame 9mm or .40 Glock like a G17 or G19, you'll want the standard-frame Alpha instead. Match the frame size and generation before ordering and you'll be set.
