The Timber Creek Enforcer 15" Hand Guard is one of those parts that pulls double duty: it looks sharp and it earns its keep. The purple anodized finish gives your AR-15 a custom look you won't see on every rifle at the range, and underneath that color is a slim, free-floating rail machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum. At right around 9.5 ounces with the barrel nut, it keeps the front end light without feeling flimsy in the hand.
Up top you get a full-length mil-spec 1913 Picatinny rail, which means your optics, backup irons, and any front sight all line up cleanly with your upper receiver. The rest of the handguard runs M-LOK slots around the sides and bottom, so you can bolt on lights, foregrips, hand stops, or sling mounts exactly where your hands want them. The 15-inch length gives you plenty of real estate to spread everything out, which is a big deal if you like to shoot with an extended grip or run a can up front.
Timber Creek keeps the install straightforward. The barrel nut comes in the box, and there's no timing or shims to fuss with, so you're not chasing rail alignment for an hour. You will want a low-profile gas block underneath, since the slim inner diameter is what makes this thing hug the barrel and stay lean. It's compatible with standard AR-15 uppers, making it an easy swap for a fresh build or an upgrade to something you already run.
Made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty, this Enforcer handguard is a solid pick for anyone who wants their rifle to handle well and stand out. Owners consistently mention the fit, finish, and machining hold up nicely, and that bold purple is a favorite for builds that don't want to blend in.
Yes, the barrel nut is included in the box along with the mounting hardware. There's no timing or shims required, so you won't be chasing rail alignment during the install. Just note that a low-profile gas block is needed to fit under the slim profile.
It's built for standard mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers, so it works on most typical builds. You'll need a low-profile gas block underneath since the inner diameter is designed to run slim and free-float the barrel. If you're currently running a taller front sight base or gas block, plan to swap that out first.
It comes in right around 9.5 ounces including the barrel nut, which keeps the front end of your rifle light and quick to point. The triangular cuts and billet aluminum construction help trim weight without giving up strength. That balance is a big part of why folks like this rail for lively-handling builds.
Absolutely. The M-LOK slots run along the sides and bottom, giving you plenty of spots for lights, foregrips, hand stops, and sling mounts. The 15-inch length gives you room to space everything out the way you want it, and the full-length top rail handles your optics and irons.
