Tikka took the chassis concept from the Ace Target and reworked it for the field, and the result is one of the more interesting hunting rifles to come out of Finland in a while. The T3x Ace Game in 7mm Remington Magnum wears a 24-inch fluted, medium contour barrel that keeps weight reasonable for carrying while still giving that 7mm Mag enough tube to stretch its legs on open country shots. The barrel is cold hammer forged and free floated, with a 1:9 twist that stabilizes the heavier hunting bullets most folks are running these days, and the 5/8×24 threaded muzzle means adding a brake or suppressor takes about a minute.
The aluminum Ace chassis is where this rifle separates itself from a standard T3x. Length of pull, cheek rest height, and recoil pad position are all adjustable, so you can get a proper fit whether you are shooting prone off a pack or seated in a blind wearing a heavy jacket. The skeletonized rear stock accepts add-on weights if you want more stability for precision work, and the ambidextrous thumb rest gives you a consistent reference point for a thumb-forward grip. The pistol grip is AR-compatible and adjustable for both angle and distance to the trigger, which is a nice touch for anyone with larger or smaller hands.
M-LOK slots and an ARCA rail come standard on the forend, so bipods, tripod clamps, and barricade accessories mount up without adapters. The interchangeable magazine well lets you run different magazine types down the road, and the whole platform is compatible with T3, T3x, and even T1x barreled actions if you ever want to swap calibers or set up a rimfire trainer on the same chassis. It ships with a 5-round magazine for a 5+1 capacity.
This is the rifle for the hunter who also shoots NRL Hunter matches, or just wants match-style ergonomics on a legitimate big game cartridge. Smooth Tikka bolt, black Cerakote finish, and adjustability everywhere it counts.
Both rifles share the same modular aluminum Ace chassis, but the Ace Game wears a lighter fluted, medium contour barrel instead of the Target's heavier profile. That makes the Game version far more practical to carry on hunts while keeping most of the precision-oriented features. It is also chambered in hunting cartridges like 7mm Rem Mag that the Target line does not offer.
Yes. The 24-inch barrel comes threaded 5/8×24, which is the most common thread pattern for suppressors and muzzle brakes in this bore size. A thread protector keeps things clean when you are running the muzzle bare.

It ships without sights, so plan on adding an optic. The T3x action is one of the most widely supported out there, with plenty of rail and ring options available, and the receiver accepts standard T3x scope mounting solutions.
