The heart of this barrel is True Precision's proprietary broach-cut six-groove rifling. That process delivers a cleaner, more consistent bore than you'll find on a stock barrel, which translates to tighter groups downrange. The rifling is also rated for all ammunition types, including cast lead, so you're not stuck buying premium jacketed rounds just to keep it happy. The chamber is a fully supported 9mm SAAMI-spec cut, and the added chamfers and improved radius work give it a fit that runs cleaner than OEM.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28, the standard pitch for 9mm cans, comps, and muzzle brakes, so your existing hardware should thread right on. It ships with a thread protector that uses a Viton high-heat integral O-ring, which keeps the protector snug under recoil and shields the threads when you're running the gun bare. Measured barrel length is 4.68 inches from breech face to muzzle without the protector attached.
