The 22-250 is a flat-shooting speed demon that's hard to beat on coyotes, prairie dogs, and other varmints at distance, and a 26-inch tube lets that cartridge really stretch its legs.
The barrel wears a bright stainless steel finish and a heavy .810" contour at the muzzle, which is a big part of why these shoot so consistently once they heat up during a long sit. It's fluted to shed some weight and help with cooling without giving up the rigidity of that heavy profile. Rifling runs a 1:12 twist, which is the sweet spot for the lighter-to-mid weight bullets most folks run in a 22-250.
The muzzle comes threaded 1/2-28 with a protector cap, so adding a muzzle brake or suppressor is a simple screw-on job with no gunsmithing. Up top, the barrel is drilled and tapped for the standard Thompson Center four-hole scope base pattern, which matters because this barrel ships with no sights and is built to wear glass. Keep in mind it takes a rifle forend, so if you're coming off a pistol or muzzleloader setup you'll want the right forend to finish it out.
