The TekMat Ultra 20 gives your Glock Gen5 a proper home whenever it's time to clean, oil, or tinker. The surface is a soft thermoplastic fiber that resists staining from grease and oil, so wiped-up solvent and CLP don't leave you with a permanent mess. Underneath is a neoprene rubber backing that adds cushion and keeps the mat planted instead of sliding around while you're wrestling with the slide lock or working the trigger assembly. The .25 inch thickness is a noticeable step up from thinner mats and does a nice job soaking up hard contact when a part gets dropped.
Printed right across the mat is a full exploded parts diagram of the Glock Gen5. It's genuinely useful when you're learning the platform or just want a visual reference during reassembly, so you're not digging through a manual or pulling up a video with oily hands. This Ultra 20 measures 15" x 20" with a .25 inch thick padding, which is larger and thicker than the original 11" x 17" TekMats. The extra real estate lets you spread out a fully disassembled pistol plus your tools, and the added cushion gives better protection if a part hits the mat. If you've felt cramped on a smaller mat, the jump in size is easy to appreciate.
The thermoplastic fiber surface is oil and water resistant, so CLP, solvent, and grease wipe up without staining or soaking through to your bench. For general cleaning, a little mild soap and water and a wipe-down keeps it looking good. The dye-sublimation printing is embedded in the material, so the diagram won't wash off or fade with normal use.
