TekMat HK VP9SK Cleaning Mat 11×17 Padded Parts Diagram

Description

Anyone who runs a VP9SK knows the little compact can get fiddly when you break it down for a scrub. This TekMat solves the two biggest headaches at once: it keeps your small parts from scattering and it saves your kitchen table or workbench from the mess. The surface measures 11 by 17 inches, which is oversized enough to hold the pistol fully disassembled along with your brushes, punches, solvent, and whatever else you keep in your kit without stacking things on top of each other.

What Sets the VP9SK TekMat Apart

The whole top surface is printed with a full parts diagram of the VP9SK, so it doubles as a reference while you work. That printing is done with dye sublimation, meaning the ink is heat-bonded right into the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. The upshot is a diagram that won't scratch off, fade, or smear when solvent hits it. The mat also carries a bit of history on the VP9SK, which is a nice touch if you like to know the story behind what you're running.

Built to Take Abuse on the Bench

Underneath the soft thermoplastic fiber top sits a 1/8 inch vulcanized rubber backing. That soft top is lint-free and won't scratch your slide or frame, while the rubber does the heavy lifting below, blocking oil, solvent, and water from soaking through to your work surface. The rubber also grips the bench so the mat stays put while you're wrestling with a stiff recoil spring or a stubborn pin.

Cleanup is about as easy as it gets. Since the mat is waterproof and won't absorb liquids, you can wipe it down or hit it with a little soapy water, rinse, and it's ready for the next session. When you're done it rolls up into the tube it ships in, so it tucks away neatly with the rest of your gear.
