Yes. The .454 Casull is a lengthened, higher-pressure version of the .45 Colt, so any .454 revolver can safely fire .45 Colt as well. That is a big plus for this gun, since .45 Colt is cheaper and much softer shooting, making it ideal for practice and plinking. Just note it does not work the other way, so never try to chamber .454 in a gun marked only for .45 Colt.
