The Vickers Tactical slide stop solves a real problem that a lot of Glock owners deal with. Stock slide stops are often hard to reach quickly, and some extended options lock the slide back prematurely when using a high grip. This TangoDown part splits the difference with a completely redesigned profile that extends outward from the frame instead of just lengthening the lever, giving you a wider contact surface without creating accidental engagement issues.

Larry Vickers spent serious time refining the shape through extensive prototyping and testing. The result is a thumb pad that sits at an angle and flares out from the frame rather than hugging it closely like stock parts. This creates more usable surface area and makes it much easier to disengage with either a support hand thumb or index finger, whether you're wearing gloves or running in optimal conditions. The deep serrations give you positive grip texture so your thumb doesn't slip around when you need it most.

Precision stamped and formed from 4130 chrome moly steel, then heat-treated and finished with a durable hard coat, this part mirrors the manufacturing quality of factory Glock components. Compatible Across Gen 3 and Gen 4 Models

This VTSS-001 version works with a wide range of Glock models including the G17, 19, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 32, 34, and 35, along with several others. Note that Gen 5 Glocks use a different ambi design, and this part is not compatible with them. Installation requires removing the slide stop pin and dropping in the new part, though TangoDown recommends professional gunsmith installation for anyone unfamiliar with Glock takedown.
