The TangoDown Stubby M-LOK Vertical Grip takes the shape that built TangoDown's reputation and pairs it with a clean direct-attach M-LOK interface. It's short, it's light at around 2.2 ounces, and it does exactly what a vertical grip should do: gives your support hand a solid index point so you can drive the gun harder without your fingers cramping up during a long day of training. The injection-molded polymer shape fills the hand nicely for a grip this compact, and the low profile means it isn't in the way when you shoulder up close to the rail.
Under the polymer is an aircraft-grade aluminum mount finished with Type III hard coat anodizing, and the stainless steel fasteners come pre-treated with Vibra-Tite thread locker so nothing backs out on you over time. TangoDown built the whole thing to Mil-Spec, and this is a design that's seen real duty use, so it's not a part you'll be babysitting.
Mounting is about as painless as it gets. The patented rail interface locks into any M-LOK slot, and you just locate your spot, tighten a single set screw with a 5/64 hex wrench until it's snug, and you're done. No proprietary tools, no fighting it onto the rail, and it comes off just as fast if you want to move it. It's also fully reversible, so it works the same whether you shoot right or left handed.
This one shines on carbine and rifle-length M-LOK handguards where you want a hand stop and index point without the length of a full vertical grip. It plays well with a thumb-forward hold, works great as a barricade rest, and the Flat Dark Earth color blends in with tan builds or breaks up an all-black rifle if that's the look you're after. All you need is a 5/64 hex wrench to tighten the single set screw that locks the grip to your M-LOK slot. Snug it down by hand until there's no fore or aft movement, and avoid overtightening. The install takes only a minute or two.

This version mounts directly to M-LOK slots instead of clamping onto a Picatinny rail, which sits it lower and closer to the handguard for a cleaner, more stable feel. It also skips the bulkier clamp hardware of rail-mounted grips. The trade-off is that it only fits M-LOK handguards.
