It's cut from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a matte black hardcoat anodize, which means it holds up to real range time while shaving weight off a Ruger 10/22 or 22 Charger project. What Sets the TKX22 Receiver Apart

The headline feature is the integral 0 MOA Picatinny rail machined right into the top of the receiver. Because it's part of the receiver itself instead of a bolt-on rail, there are no screws to work loose under recoil, so your red dot or scope stays zeroed exactly where you set it. The rail is extended over the rear of the barrel too, which gives you extra room to run magnifiers, larger optics, or whatever else your setup calls for. Around back you'll find an easy-access cleaning port that lets you run a rigid rod straight through the bore without breaking the action down, and it helps protect the muzzle crown while you're at it.

This receiver is designed around fixed barrels and uses a standard slip-fit installation, so it plays nice with OEM barrels, stocks, chassis, and trigger packs along with most aftermarket parts.
