The HiveGrip trades the flat, generic shape of a stock grip for defined finger grooves that guide your hand into the same spot every time. That kind of repeatable hand placement matters more than people give it credit for, especially when you're trying to tighten up groups or run drills quickly. A supportive beavertail extension fills in the gap behind the grip for a more stable, locked-in feel, and the whole thing stays slim and low profile so it works for a wide range of hand sizes instead of just one.
What sets the HiveGrip apart from a lot of other aftermarket grips is what's inside it. The body is hollow, and the bottom cap comes off thanks to a removable, O-ring sealed base that keeps moisture out. That gives you a legitimate spot to stash a spare battery, a small multitool, extra rounds, or whatever else you want close at hand without adding bulk to your rifle. It's a small feature, but it's the kind of thing you end up using more than you expect once it's there.
While it's built with the AR-15 platform in mind, the HiveGrip uses a mil-spec grip interface, which opens the door to a lot of other applications. It's a direct fit for AR-10 builds, Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifles, and Tippmann Arms M4-22 style guns, and it also works on Ruger PC Carbines running a compatible chassis, Ruger 10/22 chassis setups, Ruger Precision Rifle and Precision Rimfire, and Remington 700 tactical chassis platforms. Installation is straightforward with basic tools, and swapping it back out for cleaning or maintenance takes just a couple minutes.
