The TacStar Universal Barrel Shroud is a straightforward accessory for any 12 gauge pump shotgun you shoot regularly. After extended range sessions, shotgun barrels get seriously hot, and this shroud protects your hands and forearm from accidental burns while you're working the action or moving the gun around.
Machined entirely from steel with a durable black oxide finish, this shroud resists corrosion and holds up to hard use. At 13.75 inches long, it covers the barrel area where you'd naturally grip the gun. Installation is completely DIY friendly. You slip it over the barrel and secure it with a circular friction-fit bracket at the rear and a locking clamp at the front. No gunsmithing required, no special tools needed.
The open design helps heat dissipate without trapping it against the barrel. This matters when you're running multiple rounds through your shotgun at the range or during competition. A hot barrel becomes a safety hazard when you're cycling the pump action rapidly, and this simple barrier keeps you safe.
